The Cake Decorator Shoppe is locally owned and operated by Brian & Susie Schlepp. We purchased the shoppe in August 2009 and moved to the current location in September 2009.
Susie is a creative baker and loves helping customers stretch their imaginations. She was born & raised in California. She loves to tell the story of her being "imported" to the Yakima Valley. If you have time, just ask her.
Brian was born & raised in the Yakima Valley and has not lived any where else. He has a full time career as a machine designer for a locally owned manufacturing company. You will not see him in the shoppe much, but he is fun to harass if you happen to catch him there.
Our philosophy is that creating an item of celebration should be fun from the beginning of the project all the way through to the smiles created from the taste at the end. So, don't stress... come on in to the shoppe and have some fun with different ideas and creative supplies.
